Course Structure and Requirements

The traditional in-class program includes all necessary lectures, labs, and clinical rotations on campus. The day classes run from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm, while the evening classes are from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Students must have a high school diploma or GED and provide an official transcript for admission. The program prepares students to meet the requirements for the Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Program and listing on the Nurse Aide I Registry.

Future Hybrid Option

Mount Eagle College is also planning a hybrid online CNA program, which will feature online lectures with on-campus labs and clinicals. This option is designed to offer more flexibility for students. However, specific details about the class schedule and tuition costs are yet to be announced.

Additional Information

Included in the tuition are the uniform, NC Nurse Aide I E-Module, state certification exam, stethoscope, and blood pressure cuff. Students are required to provide their own tennis shoes or nursing clogs and writing supplies.
